Austin Joseph Patton, Ph.D., is a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science at Sydney University. Joining the faculty in the spring of 2024, Austin has quickly become an admired figure among students and staff alike. His engaging teaching style and passion for sustainability have inspired many within the university community to think more deeply about our relationship with the natural world. Based in Sydney, Australia, Austin leads innovative projects that aim to address local environmental challenges, fostering a culture of stewardship and responsibility towards the Earth.
